(Eldora Speedway) – Brandon Overton did the unthinkable last night at Eldora Speedway. After capturing both Dirt Late Model Dreams back in June, many people wondered if he could also win a World 100 this weekend. Well, Brandon proved he is the man to beat at Eldora right now with his 51st World 100 win.

Brandon did not have it easy though. He was able to get the lead before halfway but Dale McDowell did not let him get away. Dale was able to get around Overton in the middle stages and even pulled away a bit. But with around 30 to go or so Overton was able to get by McDowell and hold on to pick up his third straight crown jewel event at the Big E. Brandon became only the 4th driver in history to win the Dream and World 100 in the same year. If Brandon can win on Saturday night it would be 2 Dreams and 2 World 100 wins in the same year. Something we will never see again in history.
