(Bristol, TN) April 29, 2022 – On Friday night, “Superman” Jonathan Davenport collected another big check at Bristol Motor Speedway. The Blairsville, GA driver took the lead from Ricky Weiss on lap 27 of the 30-lap main event and then held off a hard-charging Kyle Larson on the final lap. The win marks Davenport’s 11th career World of Outlaws Late Model Series victory.
Mother nature spoiled the Friday night feature event of the Sunshine Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park. The World of Outlaw Late Models will look to make up the event this afternoon before the three-day event finale tonight.
